These Yoshi mascot plushes are technically parts of two different Super Mario plush sets released by San-ei. The green Yoshi plush was originally released as a part of the Super Mario Plushes vol. 2 set, which was released in 2010. All the other coloured Yoshis were released the following year as a part of the Super Mario Plushes vol. 3 set. When put together, they make up a set of 10 different coloured Yoshi plushes, which can be thought of as its own 'mini' set within two sets… if that makes sense.

These Yoshi plushes were all released as 'mascot' plushes within the San-ei sets, meaning they are slightly smaller than San-ei's 'small'-sized plushes, and have ball-chains attached to them so they can be used as (rather large) keychains, zipper pulls, etc. if desired.
