This Disgaea 4 art book was included in as part of the Disgaea 4 First Release Limited Edition box set in Japan.

The hardcover artbook contains 44 full-colour pages divided into four sections, which are:-
- Illustration Gallery (10 pages)
- Character Introduction (8 pages)
- General-Purpose Character and Monster Introduction (16 pages)
- Backgrounds/Opening Animation Storyboard/Lyrics Introduction (8 pages)

Image Gallery contains large, full-page to one-third-page images which were used either in game or where used to promote the game. It even includes one page of concept art used to create the Fuka Nendoroid Petit figure.

Character Introduction contains one full page of images and info for each main character in the game. The images include concept art, facial expressions, character icons, and large full-body images of each character. There are also short comments about each character, made by production staff.

General-Purpose Character and Monster Introduction contains images and info on every humanoid and monster character class available in the game.

Backgrounds/Opening Animation Storyboard/Lyrics Introduction includes background images used in the game, storyboard sketches used for the game's opening animation, lyrics to songs used in the game, and a comment from producer, Souhei Niikawa at the end.
