This t-shirt was released as a reward for the Asagi Fan Club, a promotional campaign being run to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nippon Ichi Software. The idea behind the club is for Asagi to try and amass as many fans as she can (with the goal being 10,000) in order to try and convince Nippon Ichi Software to make her the main character in her own game. As Asagi gains fans and certain fan number milestones are reached, Nippon Ichi is releasing Asagi-related rewards, available for purchase (for physical rewards) or download (for digital rewards). If Asagi can gather 10,000 fans, they have agreed to release her own game with Asagi as the main character.

This t-shirt was a milestone reward for the Asagi Fan Club reaching 500 members. It was originally made available for sale from the Nippon Ichi Software booth at Comiket 83 in Japan. It was later made available in limited quantities from the Japan Nippon Ichi online store beginning in January 2013. It was made in sizes 'medium', and 'large'.
