This Etna figure was sculpted by Hiro and originally released as a garage kit figure at WonderFest Summer 2007 in Japan. It was then re-released in December of that year by Griffon Enterprises as a mass-produced pre-painted PVC figure.

Etna comes with a plain, black base which has a metal name plaque on it. The base is completely removable and doesn't really attach to the figure at all. Instead, Etna is just placed on the base, and as a result, she could be displayed on any flat surface.
