This prinny clear file (along with this clear file) was a freebie from the Japan Nippon Ichi store with any order of 7,000 yen or more between March 25 - April 30 2010, to celebrate to release of Prinny 2.

It was also later available as a part of a bundle of items known as the 'Disgaea 4 Set: Prinny Clear File Edition' from the Japan Nippon Ichi store during Comic Market 79. The bundle also included a Disgaea 4 2011 calendar, Disgaea 4 Digital Collection CD, Fuka hat, and Fuka and Prinny screen cleaner straps.
