These coins were made to be used in two ways:-
- The obverse of each coin shows a hand in either a 'rock', 'scissors' or 'paper' position. Players pick a coin at random and play 'rock, scissors, paper' together.
- The images on both sides of the coin are raised, and could be easily traced by placing a piece of paper over the coin and 'colouring' over the paper.
An interesting thing about these coins, is that the reverse (Wario side) of each coin seems to have been made to have its own particular obverse to go with it. So, there are three main obverses (rock, paper, and scissors), but the designs vary slightly depending on which Wario it is paired with. This means, for example, that all 'Bull Wario' coins have a 'rock' obverse, and Bull Wario's 'rock' obverse has a slightly different design to that of any other Wario coin that also has a 'rock' obverse (eg. Bull Wario and Wario version #2 both have 'rock' on their obverse, but both of their obverses have slightly different designs (which is mostly seen in the stars).
